October is Vampire Books for Blood month!

My friend and fellow vampire author Scott Burtness has a BRILLIANT idea: Vampire Books for Blood month. When he asked whether I wanted to participate, I was all, "Hell, yeah!"

So in the month of October 2014, I'm donating 100% of my net royalties from sales of Awakening, the first book in my vampire romance series, to American Red Cross Pacific NW.

Why support the American Red Cross? I'll let Scott tell you.

And here are four more reasons: They provide services to the armed forces; they provide disaster relief (for example to Africa right now for the ebola outbreak); they provide first aid, CPR and HIV/AIDS prevention education; and they provide international humanitarian aid services.

Okay, now it's on you! Go buy Awakening for only 99¢. You get an entertaining book AND the satisfaction of knowing you've helped a good cause!

Description: Two years ago, Lilly Frank's mother was brutally murdered--and the killer set free. Since then Lilly has worked hard to create a safe and stable life for herself. But she's thrown off balance when she meets Torren Frisk, a handsome stranger whom she finds both irresistible and frightening. As she spends more time with Torren, Lilly's growing attraction to him threatens to unravel her world. Will she discover his secrets before the life she's worked so hard to build comes crashing down on top of her?
